Tyler Joseph Ellis

A Bay Area native, Tyler fell in love with performing in his early years and never turned back. He currently lives in Los Angeles, and just (virtually!) graduated from the University of Southern California with a major in Theatre and a minor in Marketing.

Tyler has been seen in several theatrical productions in the LA area, both at USC and beyond. He was most recently seen in the Boston Court’s production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s PASSION, which had a few previews before quarantine began. He is thrilled to be continuing with the production when it goes up in the (hopefully) near future.

Stage acting is his first love, but he shares a passion for the screen, and a love for directing and marketing. Amidst his theatrical endeavors, he has worked for actor Alan Cumming, the New York Musical Theatre Festival, and Walt Disney Studios in their field marketing department. Weirdly enough, he has also been gaining some traction on TikTok, with 100k+ followers! He wears many hats, but, as his idol Stephen Sondheim would say, does anyone still wear a hat?
