Sophia, a 2021 and 2023 CS Music Certified Artist in both Classical Voice and Musical Theatre, is currently a freshman at Bard College Conservatory of Music, double-majoring in Vocal Performance and Dance. In April, 2022, she was chosen to perform the Pie Jesu movement during the Brandywine Valley Chorale's Spring Concert performance of Gabriel Faure's Requiem. Sophia was selected to the 2023 ACDA National High School Honor Choir, 2023 PMEA District 12 Chorus, 2022 ACDA Eastern High School Honor Choir, 2022 PMEA Region VI Choir (1st Seat/Soloist), 2022 PMEA District Choir (8th Seat), and 2021 PMEA District 12 Chorus. She has performed in numerous plays and musicals, most recently Once Upon a Mattress (Lady Larken). She has studied voice with Theresa Buchholtz (Bard Conservatory) and Suzanne Jackson (The Awakening Arts/Yoga Sing). She has also studied acting with Becca Jackson. Sophia plays the guitar (acoustic, electric and classical) and the piano. She has a large number of solo performances under her belt and even sang/played lead guitar for a rock band.
