Dear Editor: What a beautiful “From the Editor” in the Feb. 2010 edition. Thank you—it was such an encouragement to those of us who so want to make beautiful music, but not at the expense of sacrificing the relationships we have with our most beloved.

Dear Editor: I continue to love getting the magazine, and the last article by Neil Semer about control [“What Is Control?” January 2010] made me want to worship him. OK, perhaps not actual worship, but I did feel like he was channeling my brain and someday would love to meet this guy. Thanks for the consistently helpful info over the years.

Errata
In the January 2010 issue, the tuition information listed in the table on p. 88 for the Institute for Young Dramatic Voices was incorrect. Advanced Level students pay nothing for tuition or room and board. The Introductory and Intermediate Level students attend tuition free, and pay $1,000 for room, board, and local transportation. Discover Program students pay $300 for tuition in addition to the $1,000 for room, board, and local transportation. A limited number of room and board waivers are available for deserving cases. The Institute hopes to eventually have enough funding to cover all expenses for all participants.
