Dear Editor: I am singing in an AGMA and volunteer symphony chorus as a volunteer. Please don’t forget us. Not every serious singer is doing it for pay.

Dear Editor: I’d like to see a profile of a singer who sings in choruses as well as in other more solo capacities. Choral singing in the USA and Europe has more scope now. It’s also demanding in regard to technique. Thanks.

[Don’t miss the March issue, which focuses on that very topic: choral singing for classically trained singers. We’ll have interviews with singers currently working in professional choirs and opera choruses, interviews with those who hire singers for those gigs, and discussions from teachers on the pros and cons of such work for a healthy vocal technique. –ed.]
Dear Editor: Lots of good information for singers, coaches and teachers.

Dear Editor: This magazine keeps getting better and better. Thanks!

Dear Editor: I’m thrilled that there is more for teachers in CS. Most of us teach. It should be that way.

Dear Editor: Educate high school and middle school choir directors. They are abusing voices with their musical theatre programs. Your article on vocal abuse (over-singing) [“‘Blastissimo’ or ’Screamando’?—The Over-singing Epidemic,” by Megan Gloss, August 2007] was excellent. More attention should be given to this. Would love to see something on musical Broadway choices too mature for high school voices.
