Dr. Cristina Castaldi is an associate professor of voice at Wichita State University, a Certified Essential Somatics Movement Teacher, and an actively performing lirico-spinto soprano. Castaldi is the first in the nation to create Essential Somatics college courses for both singers and instrumentalists. A sought-after voice and movement teacher, her somatic presentations have been featured at ACDA, KMEA, NOA (regional and national levels), and NATS.
