David M. Thomas has recently returned from St. Petersburg, Russia, where he finished his doctor of musical arts degree in choral conducting at Rimksy-Korsakov Conservatoire. Dr. Thomas (baritone) excels as a choral musician through his unwavering commitment to healthy vocal production in the choir. He holds advanced degrees in Russian language and vocal performance. Dr. Thomas is currently artistic director of Portland Choirs and partners with his wife Emily (soprano) in operating Studio Thomas: Music Performance Instruction.
