Joanna C. Lee is an honorary research fellow at the Centre of Asian Studies, University of Hong Kong. She has written extensively in scholarly publications, including the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, the Routledge Encyclopedia of Contemporary Chinese Culture, and magazines in both English and Chinese.
