Tamara Bernstein is classical music critic for the National Post (Canada), and artistic director of the summer concert series held annually in the Toronto Music Garden (created by Yo-Yo Ma). Her commentaries and features can also be heard sporadically on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s English radio network. She lives in Toronto with a splendid replica of a Mozart-period fortepiano, and is learning to play the baroque violin.
