So often, a high school student and their teacher need guidance and a greater awareness of how repertoire choices influence audition panels for collegiate auditions. Specializing in young voices, the University of the Pacific's Conservatory is an all Undergraduate institution that has a sterling reputation for combining appropriate repertoire combined with significant performance experience.
Presenter
Daniel Ebbers has been a voice professor at the University of the Pacific’s Conservatory of Music for 21 years, mentoring singers who have won the Metropolitan Arts Council competition and a Platinum award on American Idol. His students have excelled in top graduate programs and performed with the Met, New York Philharmonic, Deutsche Oper, and more. A former resident artist at Los Angeles Opera, he has sung at Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall. As a soloist, he has performed with the National Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, and San Francisco Symphony under Michael Tilson Thomas.
