Ida Nicolosi

Ida Nicolosi is recognized for her command of a great breadth of repertoire that encompasses opera, oratorio, early music, musical theater, and new music. She made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2012 singing the world premiere presented by DCINY and has sung with the Spoleto Festival USA, Lincoln Center Festival, OPERA Iowa, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, The Gotham Chamber Opera, and The Des Moines Metro Opera. Ms. Nicolosi has taught voice at Pepperdine University for the past fourteen years and holds both her BME and her MM in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College. Ms. Nicolosi’s students have been accepted into top graduate programs in the country and have gone off to have careers in classical and contemporary genres.
