The Diction Police Classical Masterclass

Ellen spent much of her career as an operatic vocal coach throughout Germany. In July 2019, she returned to the US full-time, and is currently Assistant Professor of Opera Coaching and Collaborative Piano at Temple University. She continues to work with opera companies as a language coach and gives masterclasses on lyric diction at universities. She also performs recitals of songs by women composers with soprano Toni Marie Palmertree. Ellen is fluent in German and English, is conversant in Italian, French, Spanish and Modern Greek, and continues to work on her conversational ability in Russian.
