Rowan University Masterclass

Soprano Lauren Athey-Janka is Assistant Professor of Voice/Voice Pedagogy at Rowan University. She has taught classical voice for 20 years to professional singers in the USA, Canada, and Europe. Her students sing with the Metropolitan Opera, Royal Opera, Glyndebourne Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Opera North, Wolf Trap Opera, Opera Iowa, Spoleto Festival, Opera Philadelphia, Oper Dortmund, Oper Wuppertal, Aalto Musiktheater Essen, Musiktheater im Revier Gelsenkirche, Stadttheater Gießen, and more. She co-authored five anthologies with Dr. Arneson, written in response to their critically acclaimed first literary collaboration "Literature for Teaching: A Guide for Teaching Solo Vocal Repertoire from a Developmental Perspective".
