SUSAN SHIPLETT ASHBAKER, Professor/Director of Westminster Opera Theatre for Westminster Choir College at Rider University and Director for the CoOPERAtive Program at Westminster brings over 40 years of experience in the performing arts. She’s in demand as a masterclass presenter, having taught recently at the Denyce Graves Foundation, Seagle Festival, NATS Eastern Conference, University of Miami, Montclair University, and Rutgers University, among others. Past engagements include Tri-Cities Opera, Opera Philadelphia, Curtis Institute of Music, Academy of Vocal Arts, New York City Opera, and Theater am Goetheplatz, Bremen, Germany. She’s served as judge for the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition since 2000.
