Playmill Theatre

Playmill Theatre is looking for performers ages 18+ to audition to be in the 2025 cast and perform in Bright Star, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Disney’s The Little Mermaid! Players must be available full-time from April 28 - August 30. All positions are paid. All roles are open with the exception of Alice, Mama and Papa Murphy, and Margo in Bright Star.

Preliminary auditions will be done virtually. For your submission, please prepare 32 bars each of two contrasting songs and an optional, one-minute comedic monologue. If you are able to confidently play a bluegrass instrument (piano, fiddle, guitar, upright bass, mandolin, banjo, etc), please also include a demonstration of your ability in your audition. Videos should be submitted via YouTube link on webiste (available Dec 15).

Callbacks will be held in person by invitation only January 25 in Salt Lake City, UT and February 1 Rigby, ID where individuals will be asked to dance, sing, and possibly participate in a cold read.
