Opera Ballet Vlaanderen

Contract: temporary - we are specifically looking for guest singers to join our production of Parsifal, with the first rehearsals in June, again in August and September, and performances in September and October.

Audition:

February 26, 2025

March 4, 12, 2025

Start date: September 2, 2024

Requirements:

- professional singing education (conservatory level Master or equal by experience)

- familiarity with both opera and concert repertoire

- excellent singing technique and flawless intonation

- able to read scores fluently by sight

- voice blends well into the choral sound

- good acting skills

- a team player who feels at home in a chorus

- positive, inquisitive and flexible attitude

- have a work permit to work in Belgium at the time of employment (if you are a national of a country outside the EEA)

Audition repertoire:

- Mozart aria

- 2 opera arias in 2 different languages

- chorus excerpts will be available on April 18, 2024

- sight-singing
