Wren Music is seeking a skilful community musician to join our team of

Associates. You will join the creative team of Wren musicians who deliver

different projects and music groups with communities across Devon. The

creative team is supported by an office team who manage finance, fundraising,

promotions, contracting, venues, evaluation and HR.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being with people, and enjoys using

their musical skill to help communities to achieve their very best. We are

seeking someone who can be flexible, and is willing to take direction and

feedback on their practice from our established musicians Jon Dyer (Deputy

Creative Director) and Paul Wilson (Community Musician and Co-Founder).

The precise workload will be shaped by the skills and experience you bring.

There are a range of existing groups and projects that you could work on, which

may include:

- weekly choirs or orchestras for adult amateurs

- weekly sessions with children under 5 and their parents/carers

- specialist wellness singing groups for people with respiratory conditions

- projects with looked after children or children attending SEN/D schools

- one-off workshops with the public
