Candlelight Theatre

The Candlelight Theatre, located in historic Ardentown, Delaware (30 minutes from Center City, Philadelphia) is seeking non-union, singer/dancer/actors for its upcoming production of Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville which runs July 12 to August 24, 2025.

Auditions will be held by appointment on Monday, April 7th 6:00 – 10:00 pm and Tuesday, April 8th 6:00 – 10:00. Callbacks will be scheduled if needed. Rehearsals begin on or around Tuesday, May 13, 2025, through Friday, July 11, 2025. The show runs July 12 to August 24, 2025.

Please send (e-mail) pictures and resumes to Bob Kelly, Artistic Director bob@candlelightde.org and indicate your preference for either a Monday or Tuesday audition slot. Calls will be made to arrange audition times for selected applicants.

For auditions, please prepare 16 – 32 bars in the style of the show. Songs from the show are acceptable. An accompanist will be provided. Please provide clearly marked sheet music. No recorded tracks please. Be prepared to dance. Readings will be provided. Please come with headshot and resume stapled together.
