Summer Opera Studio is a comprehensive opera training program, which is designed for emerging professional singers considering a career in Israel and Europe. We co-operate with professional opera festivals, theaters and European opera agencies.

The program will have a strong training element, and artists will work with world-class singers, directors, conductors, coaches, and choreographers both in production rehearsals and in training sessions, which will include individual and group vocal and repertoire coaching, masterclasses, auditioning classes and career seminars.

Summer Opera Studio 2025 includes preparing roles from the following operas:

Donizetti: L`elisir d`amore (fully staged)

Handel's Rinaldo (fully staged with orchestra)

Mozart's Don Giovanni (fully staged with orchestra)

Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor (fully staged)

Opera gala concert with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra

Concerts and masterclasses

Three casts of singers will be selected for each opera production. All selected singers will receive highly professional training, including group and individual rehearsals with conductors and coaches.

The best, one or two casts, will be selected to participate in the Jerusalem Summer Opera Festival, where they will perform their role with the orchestra in the venue ranked among the superior performance spaces in Jerusalem.
