Chaska Valley Family Theatre

Chaska Valley Family Theatre will be holding auditions for A Christmas Story, Sept. 10 and 11 - Chanhassen HS Band/Orchestra rooms.

Please sign up for an audition slot using the provided on website. During your audition slot you will perform a prepared audition song. Following your singing audition you will be taught a short dance combo. Auditioners should plan to stay for about an hour for the audition process.

Please prepare 60-90 seconds of a musical theater song of your choice. An accompanist will be provided; please bring sheet music that includes a piano accompaniment and is clearly marked with your cuts.

Please come prepared to move; we may do floor work, so no skirts. Please bring flexible athletic shoes or jazz shoes. You may wear character shoes or boots, but note that not all the choreography will be suited for this footwear. Any heels or tap choreography will be at callbacks, and you will be notified if we need this from you.
