US Air Force Band is accepting applications for a Female Pop/Rock/Country/Top 40 Vocalist for The United States Air Force Band.
The Singing Sergeants regularly perform for the President, Vice President, and a variety of congressional, military, and foreign dignitaries. They are featured at prestigious venues like the White House, the U.S. Capitol, and major national events, and also conduct annual tours across the United States. Known for their exceptional versatility, they perform a wide range of repertoire, including traditional choral music, patriotic songs, opera, Broadway hits, pop, rock, and more.
This is an amazing opportunity for a stable, salaried singing career, starting salary $76,000–$83,000 with benefits including 30 days of paid vacation annually, full healthcare and dental coverage, VA loan eligibility, GI Bill/tuition assistance, paid parental leave, and the option for a pension-retirement after 20 years of service!

Applicant must demonstrate strong, versatile abilities in the following areas:
- Extensive vocal repertoire covering all popular musical styles, including Rock, Pop, Country, R&B, and Motown. Knowledge must span from the 60’s to present day.
- Strong “Fronting” capabilities; ability to lead a pop group on both large and small stages. Must demonstrate a dynamic performance personality!
- Ability to read music and possess a general knowledge of music theory.
- Ability to blend and perform in a choral ensemble.
Preliminary audition materials are due no later than January 12, 2025. Please Submit 2 audio recordings from the following pieces, either with a live band or along with backing tracks. In addition, please provide 1 recording of a song of your choosing that showcases your strengths. No audio editing permitted. Selections may be sung in alternate keys if it remains stylistically appropriate.
