The School of Music at the University of Louisville seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the role of Assistant Director of Choral Activities who will work with the Director of Choral Activities in the administration of the choral program and the graduate program in choral conducting. The successful candidate will assist in the recruiting and retention of students in the School of Music and participate in school and community outreach projects.

Qualifications:

Completed doctorate or ABD in choral conducting, record of successful teaching and conducting experience at the college/university level, experience in teaching choral conducting, extensive keyboard skill, breadth of knowledge in choral literature, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
