Travis Hatton Young Artists Competition

The 2025 Travis Hatton Young Artists Competition is accepting applications.

Eligibility:

• Ages 13-20 as of January 31, 2025.

• Must be a resident of Washington County, or students who attend a school in Washington County.

Include with your application a link to an unedited video of your

performance, no more than 12 minutes in length.

The piece may be a part of a larger work (for example, a movement from a multi movement concerto), or it may be a couple of smaller works (for example 2 or 3 selected arias).

Upload an image of proof of residency or school attendance in Washington County and age with application. (Proof needs to show address or school with photo ID: license, school ID.)

First Round:

• Submit application and unedited video.

• Judges from the Beaverton Symphony Orchestra will review all applications.

• Applicants will be notified on February 14.

Finalists will move to the next round, performing in a recital

open to the public.

Completed application must be submitted by January 31, 2025.
