Arizona Opera

Arizona Opera is pleased to announce auditions for chorus positions in the 2025/26 Season. Incumbent and core choristers who auditioned last spring are not required to re-audition this year. Those who did not audition last spring or who were on sabbatical during the 2024/25 Season will be expected to audition this year to be considered for chorus positions in the 2025/26 Season. The Arizona Opera Chorus is comprised of Arizona-based singers living in or around Phoenix and Tucson.

The auditions will take place:

May 9, 2025 from 6 PM to 10 PM

Arizona Opera Center, 1636 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85004

May 10, 2025 from 2 PM to 5 PM

Dove of Peace Church, 665 W Roller Coaster Rd, Tucson, AZ 85704

Please prepare two selections for this audition. You will be required to sing one aria or art song in Italian. You may be asked to sing a second aria or art song, in any language of your choosing.

Those auditioning will be scheduled for an 8-minute slot. A pianist will be provided, however you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. The deadline for signing up for an audition is 5 PM on Sunday, May 4, 2025.
