New York Voices

This unique camp is open to high school, college students, professional musicians (not just vocalists), choral directors and anyone interested in improving and developing their knowledge of the vocal jazz genre and honing their skills. Anyone age 14 or older is welcome to attend. In a typical year, about a third of the campers are high school students, a third are college students, and a third are non-students (choir directors, professional musicians, jazz enthusiasts, retirees, etc.). The small choirs are generally formed by age, but other factors are taken into consideration like prior experience, balance of voice parts, etc.
