Scera Theatre

Back by popular demand, “A Christmas Story: The Musical” is the holiday show of our 2024-2025 indoor season at SCERA Center for the Arts, and it will play December 6-21, 2024 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm. It will be directed by Kurt Elison, with music direction by Emily Hawkes and choreography by Rebecca Boberg. Katie Jefferys will serve as stage manager.

Auditions for ages 10 through older adults will be held on Tuesday, September 17 or Wednesday, September 18 from 7-9pm. Auditioners should prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre song. An accompanist or aux cord is available – please bring your music and have it cued or marked. Please, no CD’s. Callbacks, for those invited, will be held September 21. Callbacks will include a dance/movement section. The role of Jean Shepherd has been cast.
