Yavapai College is accepting applications for an Associate Professor of Choral Music.

This is for a full-time position, teaching college-level Choral Music courses to a diverse student population. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Performing Arts, the successful candidate will lead and expand the vision for the college's choral music program, conduct various chorales and vocal ensembles, recruit and mentor adjunct faculty, recruit in local high schools, host regional music events and workshops, coordinate choral department activities, and teach assigned music and musical theater classes and individual voice lessons as needed.

Minimum Expectations & Requirements

· Master's Degree in Music with an emphasis in choral conducting from a regionally accredited college or university

· Demonstrated ability to develop a vibrant and innovative choral music program

· Demonstrated success in recruiting, organizing, developing, and conducting various choral and vocal ensembles that have performed successfully and draw college and community audiences
