Univ of La Verne

The Music Department at the University of La Verne invites applications for a dynamic, visionary, and student-centered Assistant or Associate Professor of Music, who will serve as the Director of Choral Activities and Vocal Studies. We seek a colleague with a passion for fostering musical excellence, inclusive community building, and empowering student expression through music. This is a full-time, tenure-track position beginning in Fall 2025.

Minimum Qualifications

* Doctorate in Music (or ABD with completion by the time of appointment) or equivalent professional experience.

* Demonstrated success in leading choral ensembles and teaching vocal music at the collegiate or equivalent level.

* Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching, recruitment, and community engagement.

* Evidence of a student-centered teaching philosophy that supports learners of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
