The 2025 Lenya Competition

The 2025 Lenya Competition is open to performers of all nationalities born between 1 January 1992 and 1 March 2006 (c. 19–32).

Contestants must perform a program that contains four selections, one from each category outlined on website. The total length of the program must not exceed 15 minutes. This may necessitate judicious internal cuts, but contestants must be prepared to sing the number unabridged if so requested by the judges.

22 January 2025: Application Deadline for Preliminary Round Video Auditions

13, 14 March 2025: Semifinal Round, New York, NY

3 May 2025: Final Round, Rochester, NY
