Ft Hays State Univ.

Music and Theatre, in the School of Visual and Performing Arts at Fort Hays State University, Hays, Kansas, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in voice beginning August 2025. We seek an engaging artist-teacher of voice with the ability to teach and coach all voice types. Primary teaching responsibilities include teaching applied voice to undergraduate students, including music education majors, performance majors, and non-majors. Other duties may include teaching voice-related courses, music-major courses, and/or general education courses based on the candidate’s qualifications and needs of the program.

Minimum Requirements:

* Doctorate in Music, or a masters in Music with equivalent professional experience, commensurate to advanced graduate studies in Music.

* Experience teaching applied voice to students of varying abilities.

* Experience teaching diction.
