Eagle Theatre is thrilled to announce the addition of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee to our winter lineup! Join us January 10-12 for a unique blend of humor, heart, and fierce competition as our quirky contestants spell their way through unforgettable moments.

Audition Information: We’re casting NONUNION actors ages 16 to adult for this fun-filled production. Auditions are open for video submissions, due by Thursday, November 28 at 10 AM. Ready to showcase your spelling skills on stage? Here’s what you need to know:

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

Age Range: Casting actors 16 to adult.

Song Selection: Choose a one-minute cut of a song from the show for the character you wish to audition for (see character breakdown for preferred song selections). Singing from the show is required, but select the cut that showcases you best.

Monologue: Choose one monologue for the same character from the PDF in the Google Drive.

WILDCARD: Tell the casting team about an embarrassing childhood memory, the word you got out on in an elementary school Spelling Bee, OR your favorite silly word in English and why.
