The Kathleen Ferrier Awards Competition 2025

The Kathleen Ferrier Awards Competition 2025 is now open for Applications.

The application period runs from 1st November 2024 until 23:59 on 1st February 2025

The competition is open to singers of any nationality who, on or before 1st February 2025

(a) have completed at least one year of a postgraduate course in music at a recognised conservatoire or music college in the United Kingdom (UK) or Republic of Ireland (ROI), or

(b) having graduated with a first degree or equivalent at a recognised conservatoire or music college in the UK or ROI, have thereafter completed at least one year of continuous study in the UK or ROI with a recognised vocal coach.

Applicants must also have their main residence in the UK or the Republic of Ireland as at 1st February 2025. All singers must be 28 years of age or under on Friday 25th April 2025.

The Preliminary auditions will take place in March 2025 on these dates: Wednesday 5th, Thursday 6th, Friday 7th, Saturday 8th, and Sunday 9th, all at Henry Wood Hall (Trinity Church Square, London, SE1 4HU).
