Louisiana Tech University is accepting applications for Director, School of Music. Director of the School of Music. Tenured, full-time, twelve-month position. Review of applications begins 1 February 2025 and will continue until the position is filled. Starting date: August 1, 2025.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants for the position must possess a terminal degree in Music or related field; a record and experience commensurate with a tenured appointment at the rank of associate professor or professor in a School of Music at the time of appointment; and knowledge of broad academic and curricular issues within music and allied disciplines. University-level administrative experience with demonstrated leadership ability and a professional record of fundraising/donor development are a plus. Candidates will be asked to articulate an innovative vision for the future and for the growth of the School of Music. Excellent interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial spirit are expected.
