Texas Christian Univ is accepting applications for an Assistant Professor of Voice.
This full-time faculty position is on-campus and in-person.
The position seeks applications from qualified candidates for a full-time, tenure-track position in applied voice performance. The successful candidate will have experience teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels with the potential to teach post-baccalaureate Artist Diploma students; maintain a high-quality voice studio through recruiting, engaged teaching, and local, regional, and national performance activities; teach in secondary areas according to the needs of the School as defined by the Director of the School of Music; and participate in departmental activities, including solo and collaborative performing, and other activities appropriate for a faculty member at a major research university. Minimum Qualifications:
- Terminal Degree (i.e. DMA) in voice
- Three years teaching in a collegiate setting
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)
