More Than Opera

Semi-Finals: November 13, 2025

Finals: November 14, 2025

The winner will be granted a twelve-month employment contract (August 2026 - July 2027) with the renowned Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden plus one month’s German tuition at the Goethe-Institut in Berlin and one month’s work experience at the Opera House in June 2026.

In addition to the German-Australian Opera Grant the Finalists have the opportunity to be considered for:

MTO Grant - Developing Artist: $4000

Audience Award: $3000

Encouragement Grant(s): $2000
