The Ernst Göhner scholarships for artists in training have been awarded to excellent students in all art disciplines (including design, excluding architecture) since 2011. Only students who meet the admission criteria and want to actively participate in the Swiss Study Foundation's funding program can apply.

The scholarship includes a monthly contribution of 1200 CHF, 6 renewable scholarships are awarded annually, the maximum funding period is six semesters.

Application process opens in December, 2024

Selection seminar: May/June 2025

After a formal assessment of the application files, the suitable candidates are invited to a one-day selection seminar. The assessment includes individual interviews and group discussions. The admission decision is made by a panel of experts. After the assessment, an individual feedback interview is offered.
