The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam invites applications for the full-time, tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Voice. The ideal candidate will be a vibrant, engaging, and dedicated artist-pedagogue with a clear history of dynamic musical performance and engaging teaching. Tenors, Baritones, Bass-Baritones, and Basses are preferred, but all voice types will be considered. This is a tenure-track position beginning in Fall 2025.

Required Qualifications:

* Completed master’s degree

* Demonstrated success as a studio voice teacher

* Substantial and ongoing performing experience in a variety of styles

* Ability to teach within a variety of genres and styles (including classical, musical theater, and other contemporary commercial styles)

* We are seeking candidates who possess communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with an increasingly diverse array of students and colleagues and who have demonstrated a commitment to creating, fostering and sustaining an inclusive environment in and out of the classroom.
