The School of Music at Southern Illinois University Carbondale seeks applicants for an Assistant Professor serving as Director of Choral Studies. This is a tenure track faculty appointment starting August 12, 2025.

Minimum Qualifications: Completed Doctorate in music by date of hire. Experience with different levels/types of choral conducting (such as elementary or secondary public school, church, children’s chorus, community choirs). Demonstrated potential for continuing research/creative activity.
