Capitol Mannheim

From a movie theater to an event venue with a special flair: After more than 90 eventful years, the city and the region can no longer be imagined without the Capitol. After Thorsten Riehle woke the then closed cinema over 20 years ago from its bleak existence, it is now spreading across the entire Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. With a lot of passion, Riehle and his colleagues created a live and event house from the old Capitol cinema, which offers entertainment to more than 130,000 people at around 400 events every year. We are proud that the name of our house is now inextricably linked with Mannheim, and we work every day anew on our special contribution to the cultural and social life of Mannheim and the region.
