Amelia Wilber is a dramatic soprano and dedicated voice teacher passionate about making voice education accessible and inspiring for all!
Amelia has collaborated and performed with many organizations including: The Philadelphia Symphonic Choir, The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Princeton Singers, Opera on Tap (Philadelphia Chapter), Opera Delaware, and Baltimore Concert Opera.
Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Amelia holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Temple University and a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the Boston Conservatory.
Currently pursuing her Personal Trainer Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Amelia takes a holistic approach to vocal instruction, making it accessible to all body types. Traditional vocal techniques often overlook body diversity, but I believe that a holistic approach to teaching is essential. Through the NASM certification, she aims to better support each student by working with their body as it is, rather than expecting a one-size-fits-all method. Breathing varies significantly from person to person due to a range of physical factors, and that different physical conditions can profoundly shape an individual’s understanding of breath support.
