After studying musical theater and acting at East Carolina University, I earned my bachelor of music, voice and piano, from Westminster Choir College of Rider University in 2003. Since that year, I have taught hundreds of students from incredibly diverse backgrounds. Many of my students have earned roles in roles in musicals and operas, and entry into fine college and university programs and magnet schools.

I use my own acting training to help my singing students become better singing actors, and I encourage my students to find their own unique voices through the pursuit of a free voice.

I also offer piano and songwriting lessons.
