Teacher

Lynn Martindale is owner of the Linhart Voice Studio in Fort Myers and offers classes in private voice and vocal performance. She has studied voice and vocal performance at the University of Hawaii and NYU where she received B.M. and M.A. degrees. She won 1st prize in the Loren L Zachary Vocal Competition which led to engagements at the Zurich Opera, Stadt Theater Bielefeld and guest appearances in Bremen, Detmold, and Paderborn, Germany. She was a Professor of Applied Voice at Manhattan School of Music, and has taught private and class voice at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Florida Gulf Coast University and Florida Southwestern State College. She currently serves on the Panel of Experts for the Career Bridges Foundation and also on the Board of Trustees for ENCOMPASS New Opera Theater in New York City. Lynn has been an adjudicator for the SW Florida Young Artist Awards, Prescott/Van Sickle competitions and the Clara Blood Auditions. Most recently she was elected President of the Tampa Bay Chapter of NATS.
