With more than 30 years experience, soprano Peggy Kurtz is a proud Certified McClosky Voice Technician, which includes intensive study in voice disorders, relaxation, and anatomy. Her students have performed major roles in local youth theatre and school music theatre productions, as well as winning NATS and scholarship competitions. Some have worked professionally in New York, San Francisco, Minneapolis, and LA.

Previously a professor of voice at Trinity Lutheran College, she served on the voice faculty at Everett Community College and is active in both NATS and the Snohomish County Music Teachers Association. She has served as an adjudicator for MTNA and WMEA, and is the Music Director for Central Lutheran Church in Everett, WA. Her studies include the Escuela Superior de Canto, in Madrid, Spain, and a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Pacific Lutheran University.
