Dr. Valente brings over 30 years of success as a voice teacher, arts administrator, and performer. In addition to teaching positions at Howard University, Rollins College, University of South Florida, and Wesleyan College, Dr. Valente was the inaugural coordinator of The Denyce Graves Foundation Shared Voices program (2022 - 2024). She is able to accept a limited number of private students each semester who are eager to hone their skills as musicians and interpreters of vocal music in the Virginia Beach area or virtually via Zoom.
