Lynda Saponara is a pianist with international performing credits and over 25 years of teaching experience. She has taught pianists and singers who have continued on to flourishing professional music careers in the United States and abroad.
Lynda has premiered works by composers Andrew Lovett, David Martynuik, Laurie Altman, Robert Young McMahan, Stephen Caldwell, and Craig Levesque. She was a founding member of the chamber ensemble trio@play, which released two CDs and was featured on WWFM, The Classical Network. Lynda has collaborated with American Institute of Musical Studies, Princeton Festival, American Handel Festival, Opera Festival of New Jersey, and has performed on the TODAY show.
Lynda has served as a faculty member at Columbia University, The College of New Jersey, Mason Gross School of the Arts, New Jersey City University, and Wagner College. She holds Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees in Collaborative Piano, and performs regularly with professional instrumentalists and singers. She has performed in master classes for composer John Corigliano, percussionist Evelyn Glennie, pianists Joan Dornemann and Dalton Baldwin, and singers Paul Plishka, Sharon Sweet, Patricia Craig, and Gabriela Lechner.
