Académie Bach

It is with reference to this "baroque" definition that Philippe Gautrot and Jean-Paul Combet created the Bach Academy in 1997, a place where artists and audiences passionate about early music and the artistic forms that accompany.

Beyond this nod to the 17th century, we can now define the Bach Academy according to three main axes:

A summer festival , positioned on the last week of August, offering in a few days a real bath of early music. A structure in tune with its environment , which values ​​artistic creation and cultural rigor in strengthening social ties: reception of artists in residence, production of unusual works, public awareness (schoolchildren, amateur practitioners, disabled people, etc.) ) through musical workshops, master classes, conferences, exhibitions, "Pocket Opera", introduction to Baroque theatre, traditional dances...
