Boyer is located on Temple’s main campus in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania — less than one mile from the City’s historic cultural institutions, including the Kimmel Cultural Campus, The Philadelphia Orchestra, Opera Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Ballet, Philadanco and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The Boyer College, founded in 1962, is part of the Center for Performing and Cinematic Arts at Temple University and offers students numerous opportunities to perform with large and small ensembles, many of which perform regularly at the Temple Performing Arts Center, Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Boyer offers 500 concerts, performances, master classes, lectures, faculty and guest artist recitals each year, most all of which are free and all of which are open to the public.
