Morningside’s long standing tradition of excellence reaches every student on campus-from majors preparing a professional career in music to those simply interested in joining one of our nine curricular ensembles. We have a place for your talents and passions. In a campus community of 1300 students, thirty percent of students participate in one of our many music ensembles, theatre productions, art courses, or take private lessons. All students, regardless of major are able to apply for and be awarded scholarships from the School of Visual and Performing Arts. With over 100 concerts, productions, exhibits and recitals each year, you are sure to be immersed in world class musical and artistic experiences. Fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music, our dynamic faculty effectively guide and support students’ musical and artistic growth.
