I Cantori di Carmel

I Cantori di Carmel is a dedicated and ambitious volunteer chorus that has been bringing choral classics to the Monterey Peninsula since 1981. Programs include major choral works as well as lesser-known jewels of the choral repertoire. Performances include carefully curated concerts with orchestra at the Carmel Mission Basilica and other venues on California’s Central Coast. New music director Daniel Henriks brings his expertise as symphonic conductor and operatic baritone to I Cantori and focuses on healthy bel canto vocal technique and historically informed performance practices.
