Description

The Juilliard School offers BM, MM, and DMA degrees in Voice, as well as a Graduate Diploma (master's level) the Artist Diploma in Opera Studies. Typically, Juilliard enrolls 8-10 Bachelor of Music voice students, 11-14 Master of Music and Graduate Diploma students, and 2-4 Artist Diploma students each year. Our comprehensive training is tailored to the needs of the 21st-century singer, who must not only sing but act, move, analyze text, and interact with colleagues, designers, directors, and conductors from around the world. Performance opportunities exist for all levels of singers, including three fully-staged Juilliard Opera productions, one fully-staged undergraduate opera, opera scenes, honors recitals, New York Festival of Song, our Liederabend series, recitals in Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, master classes, and undergraduate recitals in each year of your program.
