What is CCM?

Contemporary Commercial Music (CCM) is a term used to describe what used to be called “non-classical” styles. While Gospel, blues, jazz, rock, musical theater, and other styles all fall under the CCM umbrella, they each have their own unique features, as do the artists who perform them.

Who We Are

We are a group of educators united by a core set of values and pedagogical beliefs. We are singers, voice teachers, speech therapists, creative coaches, and guides who help others be the artist they want to be. We are inclusive, supportive, and driven by a desire to help others.

What You Will Learn

You will start by mapping the instrument and learning about the biomechanics of singing CCM styles. Through targeted exercises, you will learn how to explore and coordinate each student's full range of motion. Then you will work at the intersection of Identity, Technique, and Artistry to help them deepen their connection with their voice so they can express themselves freely in every song they sing.
